Corrupt Wallpaper in Tranquility Lane

Post » Thu Apr 07, 2011 6:42 pm

I'm playing around with the pre-war interior design found in Tranquility Lane, but I came across this issue with the wallpaper behind the stairs, you can see it circled in green:

I don't know if my files have somehow become corrupt, can someone confirm please?

That's odd because mine looks like this...

Which has a totally different pattern.

Do you use any texture replacer mods?

Yea mine look like TheWalrus's textures as well. You must have a texture replacing mod that changes them, and that is messing it up.

Yes, I'm using NMC's retextures - I've foolishly assumed that he didn't touch the TL textures because they were fine in the first place heh. Thanks for the replies, I'll go check and see if there's a fix available, otherwise I'll notify him.

since the original texture is a basic 'straight lines' texture, you will not notice it being 'streched' down.
The UV map on the mesh is messed up so you can only use 'line' type textures on it. Or solid textures.

WillieSea wins an award for this one hehe - absolutely spot on, this is exactly what NMC (the re-texture author) told me. Ah well, no big issue then, as long as everyone using the re-textures see's it, that's fine.
