Own a shop, crafting/blacksmithing

I wouldn't mind as long as you can only craft powerful items at higher levels or something unlocks it, such as finding an ebony longsword gives you the ability because you know its design.

It could even be a gold sink if its not managed, you run out of swords to sell but you're not around to make more but you still have to pay your apprentice.
And even if its easy to abuse for money, we already do that anyway.
And its a great roleplaying tool!

Just sell your stuff to the traders or something because I don't think it would be very fun to stand around waiting for customers everyday. :P

Yeah very people do agree with that, which is why we've said hiring employees is pretty much a must.

IMO it would be more interesting to invest in a shop and receive a little bit of gold once in a while, or maybe just a discount and more interesting equipment stocked.

You're the Dovahkiin. Don't you have more important things to be doing?

Darn you're right, being a chef is much more important for a hero than black smithing. I'll wear a pie for a helmet :D
