Some RPG's Worth Checking Out

Post » Fri Apr 08, 2011 6:46 am

So i recently got a pretty sweet computer and have been trying to find some games under 30$ that were PC exclusives that I may have missed during my time as a console gamer. SO far ive bought The Witcher and Mount and Blade but I want something that has a different setting and style of game from what Ive played in the past. I also own Oblivion, Fallout 3 and NV, Mass Effect 2 and Empire Total War. Can anyone recommend some RPG's or other great games that they have found on Steam. Im looking for current but not new releases so i can pick up a couple games at a discounted price rather than 1 at 50$.

Get Worms: Reloaded off Steam. It's a throwback to the classic Worms gameplay we know and love, with all new bits and pieces thrown in. Should be excellent.

I really enjoyed playing Worms Reloaded with friends. I'm not sure how much fun it would be with random people though, as half of the fun is laughing at people doing stupid stuff with each other.

I picked up Darksiders on sale for $10 and have to say it was a great purchase. I got about 20 hours and that was with one play though. Depending on how you value games $40 may or may not be worth that to you.

Trine is fun if you're into that type of game.
I thought Bioshock was ok, but definitely not the game everyone seems to think it is.

Didn't bother reading what every one else suggested, but I've been playing Titan Quest: Immortal Throne recently and I'm having a blast.

Right now ive got Gothic 3, KotOR, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Space Force: Rogue Universe and Titan Quest up on my wishlist. Which 2 do you think are best for an avid Oblivion and Fallout 3 player who is looking for a little something different

http://store.steampowered.com/app/6910/. It's cheap (was even cheaper during the holiday sale), it's awesome, it's an RPG somewhat, it's on Steam.

Ive got an issue with my downloads, halfway through STALKER's download my connection was interrupted and now it wont go past 49%. Ive tried to pause the downloads but it seems as if they are still going but nothing is actually being downloaded.
