Well I am bored of NV FO3 and Black ops so I decided its time to go to Gamestop and pick up a new game. I wanted more of a free roam game but I wanted multiplayer with it too. So I am going to get Borderlands but before I buy it is this game any good? I heard its FULL of modders and modded stuff which does not bother me but does it have like a good story and gameplay?

It has practically no story. It's fun if you play co-op, but alone it gets pretty repetitive.

Definitely get Borderlands. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Especially that horrible corny robot, claptrap. Victor and Primm Slim are so much cooler!

The graphics were interesting at first, but the story was lame and the dialogue was among the worst out of any game I have ever played.

Just in case you get a misconception there, the free-roam world is sliced up and separated by many transition points, while you can ride from one end to the other end (assuming it's unlocked), many areas do not have flat land, and so is limited to following the roads.

But still, it's fun!

Just started my second playthrough with my lvl 37 soldier tonight. Playing online is almost a must. I tried playing offline and got very bored very quick.
