Valid PlayGroup Names

Post » Thu Apr 07, 2011 6:03 pm

Hi, You know how in a script if you want a certain animation to play the script would be something like this 'PlayGroup Forward'.

I have a mesh that hase 4 sepret animations. I only want one animation to play per day and never the same animation on consecutive days. So I need to find at least two valid substituts for Forward and Backward.

--Thanks!

Thanks! Is there a problem with on mesh having more than one animation? Because each time I try to put my mesh into the CS, it crashes. I have a version of the mesh without the animations and that dose not crash the CS. Did I do Something Wrong?

There must be something wrong, you should be able to have as many different anims in one mesh as there are anim groups. I have made meshes with 5 different animations at least that work properly.

Is there anything that you can think of that might be the problem? When saveing the mesh I get this messege: block 87 Effects array size mismatch

I seem to recall an issue with the exporter not being able to create more than one animation group in a nif, so if you wanted more than one, you'd export each animation separately and then combine them back into a single file with NifSkope. Is this a rough match to what you're trying to do?

At first I just modified a mesh I had made earlier and added the animations, when that did not work, I rebuild the mod from scratch, making sure to add the animations before I put it together.
