What kind of concerns do you have with the info and screenshots we've seen so far?

Me? I have no concerns. The graphics will not be completely epic, its a sandbox game, they have a budget they need to stay on. The game looks and from what I have read is absolutely amazing.

The New Leveling setup, I have big concerns about it being implemented. I don't mind the perks or whatever they are but I don't know if getting rid of major and minors is a good idea.

Well, mainly the lack of spears. Real bugger that, I'd have thought they wouldn't do that mistake again. Graphics-wise, I'm totally fine with everything I saw. But Oblivion already looked good enough, except for faces and animations, anyway.

Fun fact: It looks like the terrain can have overhangs and such.

Edit: Oh, yeah, the overly simplified skill system. They went for gamism where they should've taken a step to simulationism, once again.

A big issue I've had not only with this game, but many others is that lack of a realistic sword stance when you draw your weapon. What I mean is, when you have your weapon out, it doesn't look as if you have your hand up right next to your face when you run and everything. I'm not sure if it would be much of a concern, but I dont recall hearing about being able to see the rest of your body in 1st person, but if they integrated that I feel it would really add to the realisticness to the game.

1. Lack of "exotic land far away" feeling - I'm afraid that the setting will be rather bland and common. And no a couple of twists to the theme is not enough to make me fell like I'm exploring another world.
2. Static character models - no hair, clothing, and yes - beard animation, sot the tree branches would move with the wind, but your clothing and hair would be cemented....
3. Lack of public transportation system.
4. Level scaling of enemies.

My biggest concern is probably how balanced the perks will be. I hope the player character doesn't become too over-powerful with 50 perks.

I really dont care if there is a lack of spears, but I do want to be able to match each weapon with an animation, and not just choosing from a list of 6

In getting concerned they make it FO3 with swords, and that it will be to casual.

Nothing yet - maybe at a push I can imagine those "finishing moves" getting a bit annoying after a while, but that's more me being nit-picky than it being a genuine worry.

Concerns:
  • Quest marker pointing excactly where my objective is...
  • No "immersive" fast travel option...
  • Clunky and unefficient PC UI...
  • Limited PC graphics because of console limitations and lazyness.
  • Lack of spears, crossbows, thrown weapons
  • Simplification of armor sets..

Whether attributes are in or not.

That is all. The rest of my concerns can be easily fixed by mods.

I'm worried that on 11 10 11, I will break both hands in a freak slamming hands in car door accident. So I won't be able to play the next day.

I'm concerned to get a too action-packed game. Finishing moves and "bullet time" (I know that this was never mentioned this way but what is slowed down time...) just seems out of place to me.

Honestly?

Fast travelling.
The Infamous Quest Compass.
Mounts.
TOO FEW factions that you can join.
Perks ala Fallout shiz.
New leveling system.
More of that Keyes' nonsense "Infernal City" and MK's I-do-hate-this "Fifth Era Love Letter" - Really, I was really excited for Skyrim when it got out, before I got reminded of the Fifth Era Love Letter.

Remove.
That.
Letter.
From.
Canon.

18 skills.
Lack of more unique weapon/armor choices
Dragons becoming Mounts.

All I can think of.

The "random quest generator" will lead me down too narrow of a path.

That combat mechanics of button manipulation will be too complicated.

That the story and quests will be shallow

That I won't be able to use my brain

That it's become a video game with bullet time and finishing moves

I can deal with all of my minor concerns easily enough but the one big concern that could make or break the game for me is the UI. I can't stand playing a game where I find myself constantly fighting the UI. Oblivion's UI was a mess on a PC and I fear that Skyrim's UI will be very similar. The Levelling system would be another concern but it sounds like they are going in the right direction with that.
