Sorry for omitting it this tidbit, but the case changed between builds too! I'm willing to believe it's a coincidence, that these were two seperate occurances that had the same effect, but to help with the current situation - is anyone aware of any issues with the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard or Gigabyte GTX 260 video card under the 260.xx Nvidia drivers that could have such an effect (monitor constantly disconnecting when changing resolutions, starting a game, plugging in a USB device, etc). To the Gods, I swear; my hair I shall tear.
