What Province did you want TES V to be in before you knew it

Skyrim was the best choice for me. The snowy dark land really suits my style, I mostly play a Nord.

I already wanted it to be Skyrim. And my wanting paid off.
I'm a great fan of nords and nordic culture... so yea.

Elsweyr. Love the name, I would have liked to see the devs try out their hand at tropical landcape, and the various types of Khajits, of course. Fun moon-sugar conversations, complexity of the political life, and for the main quest, the Mane, and the role similar to this of the White Tower or the Heart of Lorkhan I hear Khajits play.

No worries, though. TESVI or VII. :P

Before they announced it was Skyrim I wanted it to be in the Summerset Isle. But I'm happy with Skyrim.

Voted for Summerset Isles as I like the warm climate environment of Cyrodiil. I was a little disappointed about Skyrim at first since I thought we'd be running around in thick fur clothes with nothing but snow to look at, but I'm encouraged by what I've seen so far. I really hope there will be nice summers in Skyrim and maybe a slightly warmer climate in the southern part. I want some lush forests with butterflies and flowers cause I'm a tree hugger.

im cool with whatever i just wanted the game to be made... but since i get to choose in my little world of me i would like a two region game i want both summerset isle and valenwood they are both very misterious without alot of info on either of them... also now that skyrim is set 200 years after Oblivion it gives the devs the space to say that valenwoos has seen growth in population and culture so parts of it could be as described on the wiki being very dense dark forest and some parts being newly civilized... and summerset just sounds like an awesome place to go as well. and i think this would totally open up see fairing between the 2 provinces.

Black Marsh, Elsweyr and Valenwood are the most original provinces and all of them have been left out. So I would be glad to see a game in any of those provinces. All the human provinces of Tamriel are boring (except for the lush jungles and tattooed priests of Cyrodiil the PGE 1 talks about ;))

I was hoping for Skyrim. I'd like to see Elsweyr next time around, though. :)

Summerset Isle or Skyrim

Summerset Isle because it's unique and the Island Location gives it a natural border

Skyrim because it's cold, Nords, etc

Summerset Isle until the rumors about Skyrim started floating about and started looking more into the lore of skyrim. Now I happy with Beth's choice.

I felt pretty strongly that it was gonna be set in Skyrim although I would've been ok with whatever province they chose. Hammerfell would've been a neat choice too. I've always been a big fan of looking at/venturing through wintery landscapes as well as desert landscapes in a game. Game Informer's web-site has a nice fat screenshot of Skyrim on the main page. After seeing it, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what some of the other areas look like.

I really didn't have any particular place in mind for TES V. If anything I wanted them to try to do the whole continent but that's probably asking a bit much. Hammerfell would have been nice. I likes my deserts.

Edit: Also we need an option for Akavir.

It was obvious it would be Skyrim from a marketing standpoint.. half the people here think they are vikings

I doubt we will ever see Hammerfell in all its glory or any Black Marsh and Elswyr

I don't care too much but a visit to Black March would've been interesting.
