In game recorder

How about a feature that makes you able to record all the action happening around your character. Then you can go back and watch the scenes from different angles, speeds and such. It would be an excellent tool for creating movies, or to just look back at some of your gameplay moments.

Don't know how long one would be able to record though, there would be a lot of data to store. Perhaps have it stream to harddrive?

I think you'll need a screen recorder for that

I think it would be cool, and we would definitely be seeing more videos of killing annoying fans off mountains :flamethrower:

No, no. Forget fraps and such, that only records what you see at the moment. I'm talking about recording everything that is happening, and then make it possible to replay it and giving you free control of the camera.

Let's say you walk in a dark alley somewhere in Skyrim. You are ambushed by two thugs, but you manage to "neutralize" them both in a hefty fight. After the combat is over you think 'hmmm that was a wicked fight, I wonder how it would look from a different perspective' and you jump into the in-game replay moviemaker to watch the scene unfold from a cinematic view.

While movies would be nice, I like Morrowind and Oblivion's screenshot enable feature.

I make screenshot albums on my Facebook account of Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3/NW and the screenshots tell a story through each one.

Sounds like you are describing something similar to what Halo has for sharing vids. I think it would be kind of fun, but its not a "must have" for me. I highly doubt anything like this will be implemented.

I think this would be awesome. Maybe if the game would keep like 30 seconds of memory for you to play back in an instant replay type function.
