Which mod do these quests come from?

Post » Thu Apr 07, 2011 11:20 pm

I've recently installed a lot of quest mods at once and a couple have popped up that are making me scratch my head (in terms of difficulty as there are no quest markers).

The two quests I'm struggling with are:
- Breaking the Scale
- Learn by the Book

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That would be.....Kragenir' Death Quest? Or maybe OOO. I have those two mods instaled and running, and have both of the quests, and they are the only ones I know(i my loadlist) that could add them. Post your modlist.

Thank you, I did install that one recently! I'll go check and see!

What's the easiest way to post my loadlist?

In good 'ol Morrowind(Long live it BTW), you would open up your .ini file and copy/paste the bottom.

*EDIT* Both quests are added by KDQ.

Hope this helps!

Yes they're both from Kragenir's Death Quest. Breaking the Seals is the start of the main quest. The beginning is a bit difficult, but directions get somewhat better later on when the quests are more straightforward. Still, the directions in the main quest get a thousand times better when V2.0 is released later this month.

Learn by the Book doesn't have any quest markers since you're not supposed to know where these books are.

Good to hear. :)

If you can I'd recommend leaving at least the mod's main quest alone until the end of the month, because the V2.0 update is going to improve a lot of little things about it.

And if you are going to continue playing, make sure you downloaded the 1.06 hotfix (just mentioning it in case you didn't see it) because it fixes an issue that made it impossible to continue at an early stage in the mod's main quest.

I grabbed the hotfix but hadn't installed it -- I'll do that now. :) Thanks for the reminder!
