Hi All!

I just wanted to change some setttings on the mods im using and im wondering which settings should i change (in FO3 edit of possible) to:
1) double the base damage for ALL weapons, including melee and unarmed
2) change how many skill points per level INT affects.

Thank you in advance for those kind hearted enough to answer!

Just go to Weapons, select the one you want to change then right click and choose Edit. All the info on the weapon will be in the form that pops up.

2) change how many skill points per level INT affects.

You need to create a perk that will do that, the skill points per Intelligence level is already set as low as you can make it. So you need to turn it off altogether and let the perk take care of all that for you. You might also have to create a script that will give you that perk automatically at the start of the game. If you get the XFO mod package, he has a plugin that will do all that for you.

Hey thanks for the quick reply!

so there's no game setting to raise it across the board? i have to edit each weapon individually? whew sounds like a lot of work!

no gamesetting either huh? i found the game setting that determines how much base skill points you get at level up but not the extra skill points given by int. i though it was there but that i just couldnt find it. In FWE, there are different settings you can choose to set how many skill points per level INT gives, you mean its all set by giving a perk? i didnt notice it in the perk list in my pip boy. or can you set it to invisible?

That's right. Each weapon has it's own individual damage rating.

There is one but it's already as low as you can put it. You can increase the number of skill points but you can't reduce them. Provided of course you're trying to lower them, which is what I was presuming. It's not a problem if you want to increase them, though I can't see why you'd want to. You can easily max out your skills as it is now.

Yes, you can set it to be hidden. There's also the possibility that FWE is using a script to change the value, you don't necessarily need a perk to do that. Though that's probably the easiest way.
