Increase price of buyable items?

Is there a way to make mechants charge more for items without changing the price of each item in the CS?

I see that living economy did so with Cut Throat Merchants add on.

Since the price they charge depends on the base value, their mercantile skill and disposition (and whether you haggled enough) I'd imagine your remaining choice is adjusting the mercantile skills of the merchants. But even with the merchant at 100 and the player at 5 I don't believe the price will ever exceed 200% of base. How much are you trying to change the price?

I'd like to change the price to maybe 200% - 300% of base value, maybe more.

I've changed their disposition to 0 and mercantile to 100, not much of an increase in price though.

There are game settings that control the min/max value for buying and selling things and the effect that mercantile and disposition have. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Category:Barter

Thanks, that's useful.

Is there a way I can change any of these game settings with a script?

So I could have the game setting change when the player is with a particular merchant?

It is only one merchant that I want to be more expensive than others.

Sure, but only with OBSE (SetNumericGameSetting).
