Bethesda's new engine

Do you expect there to be a divergence in the TES and Fallout teams approach to game design, or will the teams provide us with a Siamese experience, akin to the difference (or lack there of) between Oblivion and Fallout 3? The Fallout team may optimize the new engine, for taking the series back to its turn-based, point-move, isometric, "over-world travel map" roots, while the TES team uses the engine for rendering the first-person, open world. Obviously, you need more than a shiny engine, to make a great game, but this topic ain't about the writing staff. What do you think the new engine means for Fallout?

I am pretty sure that bethesda will make the next fallout similar in style to TES like they did with FO3, only with more comic-book characters.

They'll reuse the same system for Fallout as for TES5, it's what they do. Anything Bethesda has its hands in will use this new engine. They did it with Gamebryo and they'll do it with this new system.

I don't care which engine they use, as long as nobody looks like dolls from Child's Play I'm a happy camper
