How would I change my characters name with the console? I named him something and sort of messed up and i have leveled him quite a bit so I would like to not start over

Are there any other tools that let you do this without the console? Like Wyre Bash (I have not seen it mentioned in the read me but that thing can do 100000000 things so i just thought I would ask).

I did not see the instructions given in the above link, but you can do it through console rather easily.

- save your game!
- go in 3d person mode
- hit console
- click your char (your name will show up)
- then use the command SetActorFullName insertNameHere or use quotation marks if you want a space in your name e.a SetActorFullName "insert nameHere".
- exit console

Should be all, at least that is how I did it.

Yup, I actually linked the instructions for changing the character's face. You probably should not have to go into 3rd person mod. There should be a player.set command. I will look into it later and add it to those instructions, however.

1. Bring up the console
2. Enter: SetActorFullName "My name is awesome"
3. Press enter and exit the console
4. Your character is now named My name is awesome

Oh, so it is player-targeted by default. Hopefully you did not click on anything in the console earlier before doing that, haha.
