[WIPz] The Big City Mod

Recruitment Drive

Hi I'm The Wanderer, many of you may have already heard of me from my various releases.

But today I come to you as The Caretaker of the mod known variously as The Big City Mod and sometimes as The Victorian City Mod.
This mod has been around for many years and has almost died and been lost forever on several occasions... This is probably the last epic unfinished Morrowind mod project still running.

Will it continue... will it be completed... or will it finally be lost forever... that may well be up to you.

This is your chance to join us and keep this mod alive and hopefully one day soon actually finish it.

We are going to give you one of the streets from this City so you can see and get some idea of what we are trying to achieve before you decide if you want to join our team. You should know though that this street... unfortunately like all our streets... is far from finished... that is why we need you to join us.

We are working with hundreds of all new meshes for Buildings, Furniture and Miscellaneous items.
All of which of course you will see and get to use once you join the team.

So are you bored with just making more and more tweaks, shops, faces and clothes that Morrowind already has plenty of when you could be contributing to probably the last truly epic Morrowind mod.

Currently we are looking for modders of all levels and all skills... we can find something to do for almost anyone who is willing and able to help... but knowledge of how to use the CS is really a must.

Note though currently no more new outside exteriors are going to be built... we want to consolidate what we already have first... The only exception to this might be for the expansion of the sewer system... but once that has been done then many more areas will be needed.

Our main push right now is to create and furnish the interiors in many of the hundreds of buildings we already have. Just think you could be working with hundreds of excellent new and exciting models.

So far we have not really looked at creating any quests... but with a city this size almost anything should be possible as far as questing goes... So if you can write quests and or dialogue and want to let your creativity go wild then you will most certainly also be welcome.

We urgently need someone who can create new and unique cloths for us.

To find... the download link for the sample Street... more information... and to make first contact with us please come along to our forum...
We have a public area open to all for just this reason...

We look forward to welcoming you.
The Big City Project Team.

Hi I'm The Wanderer This is probably the last epic unfinished Morrowind mod project still running.

The Big City Project Team.

Its great that this mod is still holding on, but the line I quoted, I'll have to disagree with....

I mean, Tamriel Rebuilt, Project Cyrodil, Deep Sea.....all still being worked on, and I wouldn't call them anything if not epic.

I want so badly to sign up, if for any other reason than to gawk, but I fear that if I do, my other projects will suffer.

 Perhaps I am just very very tired, I didn't really think of it in that perspective. :P

I would join, if only my minimal free time allowed, though I know that my skills are not at a level worthy of such a project, and I lack the time to really devote any real work anyway. That being said though, I would like to wish you the best of luck.

Hey there The Wanderer, I'm a big fan of yours. We're using lots of your mod resources in Pelagiad Expanded, just to let you know.

By the way, where is the big city mod located on the map?

Hi Tes96, it's always good to hear from modders who like/use my resources :)

As to where the Big City is located...
well you could come on over to our little corner of the web and browse our album... in there are a couple of concept maps I created :)
Use the forum link in the original post.

but if I told you where in the world it was.... well we'd have to kill you :D

only kidding of course ;)
The whole thing is built in interior cells so in the end it can be anywhere we like.

Don't forget Yesterbreeze, Veloth's Child, and Skyrim. (to name just a few of the big ones)

But anyways... thanks for letting us know about the continued effort on the project, Wanderer.
:)
I assume this is the same thing as http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/910465-shannon-and-barabuss-city/?

Thanks, Chaka ZG!

We are currently working on the addition of custom clothes, among which a number of Victorian hats by The Wanderer. And yes, we're still looking for new additions to the team. :)
