Are you using BAIN, Wrye Bash's Installer, to do it? What do you mean by "update" your save games?

IF by updating you mean the Player Levels then that would be better asked in the thread for Bash.

But try this...Start the game ..Load a Save....wait a few ...Save in a new Slot. That would be an updated Save. I say New cause I always make new when Updating.

Edit:

To Clareify....Yes if you load each save ...RE save...that is updated...it includes all the new changes you made.
Also...IF you notice the saves rotate, top is last saved....so if you want to Keep the order start from the bottom.....

Really?, but dont I have to update all the NPC's levels? Or will they be updated as well?

Quote from the readme
"You must use Wrye Bash to update your savegame by importing into it the NPC level data specified by OOO 1.3. Why is this? Oblivion's savegames store a list of the levels of every actor labeled as NPC. There are more than a thousand of those actors in the original Oblivion. OOO changes all of them, in many cases giving them a new level range. This level range is responsible for how strong and able the NPCs are, and it is directly linked with how difficult, easy and rewarding your game will be. I designed OOO to work best with the new NPC level data. Be warned that not updating your savegame will result in severe gameplay imbalances."

Honestly, I havent even played OOO yet since I installed it; ill go try it now.

Are you starting a new game? If so, then you do not have to update. If you are adding OOO to an existing game, right-click on the save (which should have been saved with OOO installed) and use update NPC levels. If you did not do that, all of OOOs changes would not be implemented. You should use that function to update saves any time you add mods that relevel NPCs, which is the case with all overhauls of the same kind as OOO (i.e., Frans, WarCry, etc.)

OK so that is what you ment....IF you Right click on your Save (on the save tab in BASH) the choice is near the bottom...Update NPC levels...when selected I get a popup with a message....click ok....let it do its thing.

I Just started new Game so never did the Update thing.

Edit: Damn Ninja again...

Who? Me?

@ Farman, I'm assuming that you've added OOO to an on going game or a save at the sewer tutorial exit.
In both instances it's vitally important to update your npc levels and wait out the re-spawn period (OOO default 72 game hours).
Open the game console (~) and type coc Testinghall.
Save and exit game.
Using Bash open your save file>right click>scroll to Update NPC Levels and click, allowing it to finish.
Reload and sleep for three days, or if you've set a different spawn period wait that length..
To return to Cyrodiil coc Weye.

Now, go hurt something. :bolt:
