Well... what do you want sorted? Potions, ingredients and scrolls are covered by COBL(every type of ingredient if you run OBSE), and aside from that, there's a huge amount of things, many of which that could refined to extreme levels with the right scripts.
I personally use http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/412-automagic-bags/ for arrows and keys, http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25436 for ingredients, potions, and scrolls, due to the fact that COBL sorting is used, and thus you can take things by effect instead of just by name, and a huge amount of containers in one home for everything else, using http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9835 to mimic automatic sorters, since it's pretty well done with choices on what you can sort by(blades can be sorted into different things by handedness, and enchantment, for example, so one can use four containers for his blades, assuming one doesn't want to place special ones in different containers). It can miss some things, but these items would often be special and thus one doesn't just toss them into a container with a spell(though you still can if you set it right), and it doesn't move quest items.

One of the very few homes is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14601
The major drawback is if your a new character as the quest only kicks in after you become champion.
It's a marvelous house with an excellent quest.

Thanks for the help! That Art of Speedy Depositing looks very promising indeed. I've only been playing a week now, but have already realized how dependent I became on my sorters in Fallout 3. And this game seems to have more loot in it that FO3 does, lol. I'm addicted to looting and I simply cannot help myself when clearing out an area after I dispose of the bad guys. But with all the loot comes the inventory management problem, lol. So far I only downloaded a couple of houses, and I'm using the Mountain Shack for my personal retreat away from the rigors of Imperial Service, and Glenvar Castle to park my posse of Knights for when we go out on missions. The main thing I like to see in a home is the ability to quickly pop in, drop off the goods, and head back out, and not have to wind through a maze of cells and hallways to get to the storage area. Unfortunately, the Great Room in Glenvar didn't have much storage, so I added 10 containers in a tasteful manner to use. So, if this Speedy mod works like I hope it does, I won't have to go through the trouble of making the scripts and activators et al to add my own sorting system!

And that Verona House is awesome! One of the first player homes I used in FO3 was DTOM's Rivet City Apt, and thanks to his sorters in that pad I was able to pick them apart and teach myself how to do them for my Chekov's Place house. So, I will definitely be trying out his Verona House as well! Thanks again from a TES noob!

I have an unreleased one that contains not just an alchemy ingredient sorter, but also http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes4Mod:Cobl/Modding/Static_Alchemy_Equipment, which I haven't seen used in any other mod (though I haven't really gone looking).

I agree about looting... I'm always using hefty feather spells to carry tons of loot out of dungeons. I used to use http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=2658, but I decided that being able to teleport arbitrarily large amounts of loot out of my inventory was too immersion-breaking. It'd be nice to find a good lore-friendly and immersive way to carry lots of loot, aside from feather spells.
