Elysana

Alright,

Working on a future roleplay that will be concerning Wayrest and most of Highrock, naturally we would need to know a few basic things and if available through info on Elysana.

Does anyone know of any extensive sources of info on her?

Nope, but this is what I do know for a fact.

She is an enemy of Helseth, Morgiah and Barenziah. If we extrapolate from this, we can assume she is an enemy to Altmer influences in Wayrest and any emigre Dunmer who might have come to Wayrest with Barenziah and family.

She is King Eadwyre's daughter, but NOT to Barenziah. Elysana is not remotely Dunmer, full-blooded Breton here.

She was. She and they might still hold a grudge, but she has no reason to: she was an enemy of Helseth and Morgiah because she competed with them for Eadwyre's succession. Of course she resented them, what with being the natural heir until her dad remarried... But then Morgiah went to Firsthold and she managed to secure her place on the throne, so Helseth (and his mum) had nothing to do anymore in Wayrest and went back to Morrowind. This worked out well for him and everyone is happy:

1. Morgiah got what she wanted.
2. Elysana got her dad's throne and she got the foreign rivals gone.
3. Helseth became King of his whole homeland rather than of just one part of a foreign province, so it's a better deal for him.

We have sources like "A game at dinner" IIRC that state how Elysana still sent spies to over look Helseth. I think they dislike each other just fine.

I think it is interesting how the RP is turning very much like real life europe where all the royalty was related of the various countries but they disliked each other. I am refering to Helseth in Morrowind, Elysana in High Rock and Morgiah in the Aldmeri Dominion.

wasn't elysana jealous of morgiah's beauty or something of that sort? i remember it mentioned quite often in rumors. she's also not suppose to be attractive either.

Maybe, but Morgiah was covered by a ton of make-up (her, Helseth and Barenziah all had white skin at the Court of Wayrest).

looked at the wiki, Elysana looks really ugly as an NPC, but her dialog portrait is actually quite attractive.

i'm not sure why the dark elves had tan skin in waywest, most likely an oversight, or perhaps half-elves in concept. i think there was only one elf portrait for dialog outside the royal family.

As I said, make-up. (Might be magical make-up, also known as illusion.)

The Dark Elves in Daggerfall still had the reputation of being the http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AlwaysChaoticEvil race, immoral and perverse. You have a little group of them who are far from home and trying to fit in a court where they have a lot of enemies (starting by those who saw themselves as the legitimate heirs of Eadwyre and are threatened by these "carpetbaggers"). What do they do? Cavort naked under the full moon and while drinking baby blood? Or try to fit in and look as native as possible? Helseth even clipped his ears.

If you guys just click the link it says Elysana's parents are both Bretons.

"Princess Elysana is the daughter of Queen Carolyna and King Eadwyre of Wayrest."

Yeah we know. Nobody said otherwise. Elysana is as Breton as Morgiah is Dunmer.
