Elderscrolls Lore

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 11:11 am

If I wanted to read all the information known about a certain topic, say the Nords as a race and skyrim in general where would be the best place to go with the most information??

This is for modding purposes.

thanks

This would be the best place by far http://imperial-library.info/.

No website is more dedicated to it then this site.

Well I would beg to differ on that, yes you can read the books there and get some knowledge yourself...

But as far as an accurate discussion one what is held to be canon on of a particular topic of Elder Scrolls Lore...

You Need to post in the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showforum=16 section of this forum... :foodndrink:

Edit: And after looking at your posts I can see you are Very Familiar with that section of the forums...

My answer directing the Op to that section, was in my experience the best course of action..

If you go to the Imperial Library and get what you think is the right answer, there is a darn good chance that what you read there as accepted canon will be shot down in flames..

By the Real Knowledge Guru's in that Wonderful forum, so yes do both, research the Imperial Library and post in the Elder Scrolls Lore section as well... :foodndrink:

Indeed, you should probably always ask down there for your questions regarding the Lore of the ES universe.

UESP usually can provide some accurate info, The Imperial Library has some speculation (plus all the books from all the games) and the Lore section in the forums is the place to get some real answers. :)

Well to be honest, we skipped on the Magic Scrolls from Morrowind because most were just silly words in Daedric. We're also still looking for that illustrated version of Boethias Pillow Book.

But why is this thread here? Most people here would know where to look I reckon.

The OP's question has been answered, so it's time for a lock.

The best source of information on lore is in the games themselves, but forums like this, websites like TIL, and the wiki can summarise and help you to interpret it. :)
