I recently downloaded and started playing Daggerfall and it really is a great game, but I have a problem. A pretty big one too, lol. Everytime I try to save, the game crashes and the DOSBox window pops up and says:

Daggerfall has encountered an internal error at 1000.
The error reported was: Duplicate quest map ID.
Exiting...





Please people of the Elderscrolls forums, please help me.

Delete everything and reinstall. I had the same problem. I think with me the problem was that somewhere along the line the directory paths got mixed up and the game couldn't find the save folders.

Ok, I will try that.
