Hi, I couldnt help but wonder what the odd looking weapon being wielded by the character on page 56 is...it looks to me to be similar to a flintlock pistol, maybe I've just missed something?

there is nothing even remotely close to a pistol on that page...

The guy with a shield approaching the dragon? He has an axe with a curved handle, not a pistol.
