I recently re-installed Morrowind after years of not playing. I followed http://morrowind2009.wordpress.com/ guide, which make the game look a lot better. My issue is this: I'll have food in my inventory and when lunch or dinner rolls around, the script will cause my character to eat whatever is there (ham, pie, apple, etc), but the character gets hungrier and hungrier and continues to lose attribute points. I configured NOM to allow manual eating, but this doesn't seem to work. Do I not understand some fundamental concept, or is something wrong?

EDIT: I'd also just settle for a way to uninstall this mod. I can deactivate the .esm file but my character continues to get hungry and lost all attributes!
