Three Dog is my number one, when I think of Fallout 3 and wandering the Capital Wasteland, I think about three dog; and I mean come on it's Three Dog!!! I also really like Gallows and pretty much all of Lyon's Pride, and for some reason I really like Deputy Weld too. lol

Sergeant RL-3 Gutsy class robotic soldier
He has all the best quotes, in addition to the standard Gutsy combat dialogue

Why is he my favorite? Because the first thing he did after I recruited him was take a swipe to the face from a Deathclaw, scream "*IS* THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO!?" and then burn it to death.

Lucas Simms, because he reminds me of Eli.

Still, Charon probably wins, because he's kinda silent and as a rabit write-aholic I can't complain much about his personality.

I love fallout so much its hard to limit it to one person, although I think my favorite would probably be Fawkes because he has an interesting backstory and he's very loyal and friendly

For a follower, I absolutely love Charon. I refuse to travel with any other character. His aim is amazing and believe me, he's saved me quite a few times. Plus it's hysterical hearing him grumble to himself all the time. I'm a sniper so he fits what I need. Charon's my main man!

I'm not sure why, and I didn't see him on your list, but I also love Button Gwinnett. That protectron was insanely awesome, and yes, quite adorable too.

Follower: Charon. "I don't like the look of this place." Hey that's my house, you turkey! Or when a huge explosion goes off around us(usually when multiple cars blow up at the same time). "Holy s**t!"

Human: Moira Brown. Perky and she says the funniest things. "Did you know you can cook Radroach meat? It still tastes like old feet, though. *laughs* Anyhow, what can I do for you?". What makes it even better is when she says that while she is sweeping her floor and looking down. It just looks really funny!:)

Ghoul: Tulip. I just like how endearing she is. She is surprised that you actually want to trade with her, and she sounds so happy when you do.

I like Lucy West as well.

Jerico is a little surly sometimes, but can be cool. "Either start talking, or get the **** out of my face!!"

Wow! I agree with all of these, they are three of my favourite characters. To this list I'd add Clover, Willow and Bessie Lynn. Willow in particular would have been a great NPC to have as a companion.

Great minds think alike after all.;)

Willow reminds me of Willow. The Willow from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, except after she has been ghoulified.

I also liked Bessie Lynn. She seemed to have an innocence about her(unlike the rest of the Tenpenny ghouls). She reminds me a little of Carol(in Underground), who I also liked.

I have yet to travel to Paradise Falls so I am not sure what Clover is like.

First off... I -don't- like Colonel Augustus Autumn. I think he's a psychopath and a ruthless sonova[censored] who created the very enemy that ultimately destroyed him... and in my book, that's not heroism, that's stupidity and arrogance. With the technology the Enclave has at it's disposal, he could have just as well begun 'Gene-Cleaning' protocols to help cure those suffering from genetic mutations... but instead he signs off on President Eden's directive to make the SAME dumb-assed mistake of the LAST administration?

Augustus Autumn died a hero for one reason, as far as I am concerned... and that would be because he did so fighting in the name of the Enclave. President Eden was a traitor and an abomination... and his destruction was but an inevitability.

Now, having said that... I have a few 'favorite' NPC's in Fallout 3.

I think I'll share them in the form of...

'Top Ten- Countdown: Favorite NPC's of Fallout 3'

#10.) Moira Brown- She's not exactly what I would call gorgeous (especially since I haven't altered her vanilla appearance other than through the usage of Ling's Coiffure), and she certainly isn't entirely all-together, but Moira Brown of Craterside Supply is most definitely one thing- Cheerful. Her friendly attitude and helpful nature are hampered by Fallout 3's miserable writing... but her personality doesn't really suffer for it. You can still tell exactly what kind of a woman she is, and her intentions are almost entirely for the betterment of all... rather than self-centered egotism. These factors, and the knowledge that I dig a girl in a grease-covered jumpsuit, easily secure her position at number ten.

#9.) Dr. Madison Li- Whether she'll admit it to the player or not, it's fairly obviously that Madison Li has the hots for dad... and her dedication to seeing him achieve success is all the evidence of that that one requires. She speaks of him and his vision like some drooling, half-crazed school girl with a crush on her teacher... and when you consider the fact that he's got the voice of Liam Neeson behind him, who could blame her? This tired science chick has been coming up short for years... but her willingness to go to any lengths to help dear old dad, and her decision to help finish what she started with Project Purity, earn her prime pickings as Favorite NPC number nine. You go, nerd-girl!

#8.) Dave- "Oh, I pledge allegiance... to Mr. Dave... and to the Unified Republic he Rules." Who can forget this man? While clearly he is insane... mad with power... and abusing his authority and influence in order to replace his long-time wife with a newer, younger model... the fact remains that Dave, of the Republic of Dave, is the kind of guy that you really just don't see a lot of anymore. He's actually memorable... if only because the first time I met him, I knew I was going to enjoy killing him off in so many ways. Since that first playthrough, I have made it my singular goal in every subsequent character's quest to depose this misguided megalomaniac. It's these love-to-hate-him qualities which make Dave such a unique fellow, and it's that uniqueness that earns him the number eight slot. "For the Republic!"

#7.) Fawkes- For the majority of the time in Fallout 3, when you see something big and green lumbering around in the distance... you shoot first and ask questions later. If you happen to be out of ammo, you run and hide... usually screaming like a little girl. They're big. They're bad. They're going to eat your arms when you're dead, human! Super Mutants are little more than faceless (not quite so literally as feral ghouls) baddies with whom the only real interaction you're going to have is taunts fired off in the heat of combat. Fawkes changes this paradigm. For the first time in the game, it is revealed that even though they may be big and dumb and trying to kill you... there is still some semblance of an identity inside those big mutated craniums. Whether he be wielding his Super Sledge or the Gatling Laser he seemingly acquires from nowhere... he is a force to be reckoned with and a truly intellectual conversationalist. If only the people who did the writing for Fawkes would have contributed a bit of that intellect to the rest of the game, eh? Fawkes Rawks, and for that... he is number seven.

#6.) Eulogy Jones- If you thought being a slave was a bummer... just try being the wasteland's last surviving pimp. Eulogy Jones isn't just part of a dying breed... he's the last man standing. From his suit to his hat to the way that he talks... the man is smooth and stylish and brutal. The Slaver's Guild from Fallout 2 could have taken a lesson from this linguistic chap... not to mention a few of those collars he seems to have so damn many of. He's charming, in a terrifying sort of way, and makes even the most moralous of us a little envious of his way of living. For being the only slaver in the camp with any kind of a developed personality, and having such a cool one at that, Eulogy Jones and his big floppy pimp hat of doom weigh in at number six.

#5.) Elder Owyn Lyons- It takes more than one kind of man (or woman) to rebuild civilization. Sometimes, we're born with it... and other times it takes a startling realization of the truth to get us to make a stand. Nobody demonstrates this better than Owyn Lyons... once a prominent soldier within the Brotherhood of Steel turned renegade. Having seen for the first time the difference that taking an active stance could make, something which the West Coast chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel would never do, Elder Lyons realized that there was another way to put the technology and power and advanced training of the Brotherhood of Steel to use. He envisioned a world in which the Brotherhood not only preserved the lost technology of the wastes... but also the struggling folks trying to eke out a living there. While many were determined to follow him no matter the costs, others broke off... dedicated to the old ways of doing things... and formed the Outcasts. Even in the face of this, Owyn Lyons continues to wage a war he does not know if he can win... and for that determination, and a willingness to show that even old dogs can learn new tricks, Elder Owyn Lyons of the Eastern Brotherhood of Steel comes in at number five.

When we come back from a short break, the countdown will continue. Who do you think will make it to Number One?

Stay tuned to find out, here... on "Top 10- Countdown: Favorite NPC's of Fallout 3

Argyle was my favorite just from hearing the broadcasts.EEEAAAAGLE CLAAAW!!! :ninja: I made an unarmed/melee character named Argyle Ravenwood in his honor.
My other favorites include Fawkes, President Eden, and Dogmeat.
I also like Bumble, just because she's the only kid from Little Lamplight that I don't want to kill. :gun: :ahhh:

Flak and Shrapnel are my favs. I like Shrapnel's voice. I know other NPCs have the same voice, but for some reason when that voice is coming from Shrapnel it is so much...um...nicer. Don't ask.

I also like Dogmeat and Threedog.
