Legion.
How would Pitt Raiders even stand a chance?
They do have enormous amounts of radiation and ammo in there but I don't believe that they can match up to Legion's numbers.

I agree... If it was a five on five match Pitt Raiders vs. Legion, Pitt Raiders would win but all vs. all? Legoin.

It depends on the situation. In a one on one battle on an open plain between the two groups, I would certainly bet my money on the legion.

If the legion had to assualt The Pitt however, I think it would be a close battle but ultimately the Pitt Raiders would be successful in their defense, with many legionaries returning with severe emotional trauma and repeating over and over "The bridge, the bridge..."

If you just mean a battle in nowhere, Legion would win.

They have the numbers, and the training while the Pitt Raiders are just.. mean

So OmegaSpruzOVDZ is it a specific situation or just in some open place in the middle of nowhere?

The Legion has forces, better trained men, and they have guns, just because they don't use them as much, does'nt mean they don't have them.

Also, the Legion would win in every scenario.

Yep, they don't seem having much problems with steamrolling through the NCR lines either.

It seems that based on the polling, most people believe that the only senario in which the Pitt Raiders would have a good chance at winning is in the Pitt. Personally I think the legion would be sent packing back to Arizona crying if they tried to attack the Pitt. The Pitt is possibly one of the most defensable areas in the Fallout world if you ask me. The bridge alone would be one big shooting gallery for the raiders with the legion acting as the bottles. If the raiders had a chance to shore up their defenses more then I think The Pitt would be all put impenatrable. Plus there is apparently more of "Ashur's army" than what we see in the Pitt as many of them are out scavenging in the city.

If defending the Pitt, or 'the mountains," then the Pitt Raiders. They are a defensive force - not an offensive one yet, although Ashur is trying.

I prefer the Pitt Raiders as a faction but I'd be lying if I said I thought the Legion wouldn't destroy them, anywhere. The Legion is just too big.

Yeah by the way, Legion isn't all about full on assault, they also take their time to spy, demoralize and sabotage the enemy.
So actually, Legion would win in any case.
For example, Pitt Raiders are guarded by their river right?
Well..
What if Legion makes sure that nothing comes over the river?
Pitt Raiders are going to run out of food and stuff.
Maybe send in a legionnaire spy that turns off the lights and allow Trogs to attack them all.

So no, Pitt Raiders could not win over Legion.
If Legion was as stupid as to directly attack Pitt then maybe.
But Legion aren't that stupid.

I don't see why the Legion would fight The Pitt, they'd let The Pitt be, that place is a smelly dump with nothing of value save a factory, and the legion already smelts metal. So The Pitt is pretty much useless.

Legion would want it. Only thing that might put them off is the radiation but then again they have slaves that they can send in there. Maybe the legion would not even fight them. They would do what they did to the Khans. Send in ambassadors to blow smoke up Ashur's butt and get him to work witht he Legion.

Honestly, I can't see any use for The Pitt aside from that steel mill. The problems there outweigh it's goods.

Not if Ashur's wife finally discovers the cure for the Trog mutation.
Once that happens the place will be great protection for people with the vaccine in their systems.

I half hope that if they make a vaccine for the Trog illness it has no affect on ghoulification... I'd like to see more Trogs away from the Pitt...
