Fallout 3 Constantly Crashes

I just recently installed fallout 3, I was really excited to play until I left the vault. I can't even play for more than three minutes without the game crashing or freezing. This happens especially when I'm near Megaton. I'm using all the DLCs, the latest 1.7 patch, FO3 RAM Boost, and OBSE. I am also using NMC's latest texture pack and playing on ultra settings without transparency multisampling. I'm begging that someone will please help me stabilize FO3 and fix the crashing. I really want to play and this seems like the best place to look for help.

Unless if I missed it, I don't see any of the capatability patches for MMM, EVE, WMK, and FOOK. I'll let a more experienced person say it, but I'm pretty sure you need those patches.

If you're using FOOK2 v1.1, FOIP doesn't cover that. If not, FOOK and MMM can cause crashes by themselves.

Also, you have mods that edit the game world.

Download FO3Edit and use the MasterUpdate feature.

Not saying this is what's wrong, it's just stuff I've experienced.

you should be using a merged patch with that mod combo. make one with fo3edit.

well i think you'll have to disable groups of mods at a time (eg. 5 at a time) to narrow down which mod is responsible. unfortunately you have way too many for people to just say 'oh hey mod x is your problem there'.

Be careful with which groups of mods you disable every time though. You have several mods with FOOK versions for example, and if you disable FOOK without disabling those you might cause completely new issues to appear.

Your problem is probably very simple. You really need to read the readme that is provided with each mod. You can't just install mods and expect them all to shake hands and work together :P You would see that mmm (as an examle) says:

Make sure that:

* All MMM modules load *after* Mart's Mutant Mod.esp
* All the above MMM .esps are loaded last in your load order


The only things that should be loaded after MMM (that I know of so far) is weather mods, and then all patches loaded as the final last. So take some time, read the readme provided with each mod, and resort that load order :twirl: If you still have issues after, post the new load order and we can better help track the issue down for you :D Good luck!
