i really want the Psycho pack, but amazon, well, i've had some bad experiences with their pre-orders, and wanted to know, will the Pre-Order packs be available for DLC later, like, a month after relase? cause i would pay $0.99 to $2.99 for just the psycho pack. please let me know, thank you very much

Good question, although companies generally keep those intentions quiet since the purpose is to "convince" you to buy it from a particular vendor.

You might have more luck if you just pre-order it from one of the other options and trade codes with somebody later, but I can't say for sure.

The fact that amazon and walmart get extra weapons and gear instead of just skins makes me hope they plan on making it available to everybody later, but who knows.

Bethesda hasn't said anything either way in this regard, so if you want to be safe you'll need to pre-order from Amazon.

Bethesda hasn't done much with bonus pre-order DLC yet so we don't have a history or precedent to clarify this. They could decide to put these DLC on the market at a later date, they could not, and just because they choose one option with one game doesn't mean they'll choose it with the next. I'd personally like to see bonus pre-order DLC released later on. Some people say it defeats the purpose of a pre-order bonus but as I see it the bonus is getting it far ahead of everyone else and getting it for free. If they did release them later on it would probably be months down the road and it would certainly have a price tag on it.

i'm one of the people who believe it shouldn't be released for DLC's ,was never able too DLC ME2's collector armor or the Hellequin on Brotherhood ,i think preordering should be a reward, your one of a kind.

I don't see any recent threads about this, at least not in the Brink section (there is one in the Hunted section I replied to recently).

I can accept that for the clothing pieces or tattoos, but not for the silencers, scopes, and guns offered in the Psycho and Spec-Ops packs. It's a suspect practice, to have game developers "telling" you where to shop or in some cases which console to buy based on bonus content.

If you're desperate and willing to pay a bit more, you could pre-order the game at a more reliable place like Gamestop and buy the Amazon pack off Ebay or something.

Usually people put up DLC codes for sale after launch, though you may have to pay upwards of anything from 6 to 12 for it.
