7000 steps - how to make them awesome

Post » Sun Apr 17, 2011 3:25 pm

It'd be neat to go up 7,000 literal steps. Maybe for comedic effects, after the black screen of 6,xxx steps later, you see your character on his/her hands and knees crawling up the stairs with labored breathing.

Aargh damn youtube, stop making me want to travel.

I've been up a ridiculously high mountain in some Buddhist pilgrimage spot.
Can't remember exactly how many steps it were but it was something around 3000 or 4000.

To truly make the 7000 steps amazing, you need a slinky and start it's decent from the top. "Go, Slinky go!"

Haha, but picturing a warrior.

Hmm so the average amount of steps per floor in an office building is around 15, therefore we'll be climbing around 460ish floors?

I imagine the player would collapse of exhaustion long before reaching the top. Hopefully an annoying character will then proceed to push you down the stairs for being silly enough to try and climb them non stop.

It's not actually a stair, it's a really annoying pop group with seven thousand members.

I wonder how many people are going to actually count them? I can just see the forums now. "Bethesda lied to us, they svck!" :celebration:

If they want to make it interesting. Have it be the only path up and a Dragon is attacking while your trying to climb the steps. Can you avoid it's attacks without falling, will it force you to go back down the path. it does sound like a area that they can have some fun with.

It would be awesome if the 7,000 steps was like the floor from the Billie Jean music video. Every step you take lights up ha
