I finally got the Oblivion Collector's Edition!

Post » Mon Apr 18, 2011 9:20 pm

It's a nearly five year old game and I'm supposed to be its biggest fan of Oblivion but until today I didn't own the Collector's Edition! (shame on me). Oblivion changed my life, even though I already came from playing Morrowind all the way since it was released in Spring 2002 I was so moved and touched by Oblivion. I love the game to death. (the reasons for that I'll save for another thread). I bought the game first day but for some reason, unlike Morrowind, I didn't get the Collector's Edition, I only got the regular version for PC (and later the X360 GOTY version). Later I realized that I really wanted the Tamriel Guide and Septim coin but when I browsed online game shops here in Sweden a new copy of the Collector's Edition for PC was nowhere to be found, so I left it at that. But a few days ago I Googled "Oblivion Collector's Edition" for fun and I got several hits of the edition being available in European onlines game stores. I got mine from Play.com for only 44 Euros but it's available elsewhere too.

Anyway I got it in the mail today and I finally feel complete. A brand new copy with that heavy bronze coin and all! :celebration:

Congratulations! The Elder Scrolls games are games that are worth buying more than once. I must have five copies of Morrowind.

You mean like 50 copies in a physical store or in the Danish online store?! Anyway we don't have GameStop here in Sweden as far as I know (we have Game though but they don't have any older games).

Thanks for the replies. I'm fanatical about Oblivion. :celebration:

at the time i thought at the store had a Oblivion theme, cause almost half of the stores shelves was with Oblivion related stuff :obliviongate:

most of it was down to 200-300 kroner or 50 dollars. :woot:

I bought Oblivion GOTY and Fallout 3 when they came out for xbox 360, and I received all of the updates and patches through xbox live years ago. About three days ago I received new updates for both games. Did anyone else get these and know what they were for?
