But in comparison to this game... It's a run and gun deal. Would the zombies have a parkour ability? Would they be like L4D with special infected? or just classic slow dumb zombie horde?

If there was to be any continuation, I would love to see the Resistance/Security/Land based faction 3-way battles in a Jungle enviroment. If they are in the Atlantic like we assume the Resistance could land in Brazil and fight off the "Mexican Empire".
