I've used the "Update Map" function from Wrye Mash, trying to fix missing location points (Molag Mar wasn't shown on the map), and for a result I get a annoying grid on whole map of Vvardenfell, and the missing spots didn't get fixed at all.

Is there anything I can do to remove this grid? It is really annoying.

Does this occur with new saves? You might want to try cleaning the old save, though you've probably tried that already.

Simply turn off "World Map Gridlines" in Wrye Mash.

(right click the File header under the Saves tab)
