Collector's edition ran fine on this machine back in the day.
Reinstalled.
Applied the patch and am now seeing random lockups.

Quad core, so I applied the dual-core threading patches to the .ini...did not help.
Tried removing the Micrsoft [censored] and it did not help (but MAN my load times are a hell of a lot better.)

Updated video driver (nVidia 480)

System is rock-solid in all games except Fallout 3 with the patch.

And honestly, I'm -really really- getting sick of the crashes and having to restart all the time and reload and pick up from my last save. Even with quicksave, I'm about to shelve this game.

Whatever you guys did in the patch really F'd the game up -=badly=-.

Is there a tool to uninstall the patch and revert without reinstall?
