Viewable cells?

Hello, I have one simple question, how do you increase the number of cells you can view in the render window? It would make it alot more convenient to create roads if I could see where I was going.

I do not think you can. It loads the cell you currently have an objected selected in, and the surrounding cells, 2 in each direction. Its that way so it doesnt totally overload your computer.

Oh, well that's too bad.

But, I have another question. Why is the water in my new world space invisible? All that is visible is the water itself, the surface is not. I have tried everything, I increased the water height, but that only got rid of the black square that was constantly in front of the camera. (could this be the problem? It was a thin black square, and I had to back the camera up to be able to see around it.)

Adding an object to the object window, usually fixes what I think you are talking about. Also to make the water much more visible, give it a noise texture. Then it will ripple and you can see more easily. Also make sure your default land height... crap I cant remember, I think water height has to be about 10500. Unless someone can remember which one (its been several months for me) make sure both the land and waters default height are above 10500 units, this fixes shoreline bugs and issues with the waters appearance as well.
