Vanilla Morrowind

Post » Thu Apr 28, 2011 10:35 pm

The last time that I played Morrowind seriously was back in 2005. Since then, a plethora of new mods have come out that all work towards enhancing the overall experience that Morrowind delivers.

With the coming of the news that the fifth installment of the Elder Scrolls series was in the works, I have decided to go back and play both Morrowind and Oblivion. As the title and description of this
thread suggests though, I would like to play them both through in as close to the Vanilla state as I possibly can. What I mean by this is that I would like to gather a list of modifications that would
essentially enhance the game, but not alter the feeling of the Vanilla game. But as I stated, it has been some time since I have played this game. This is why I leave
it up to the Morrowind Mod Community to recommend a list of mods that you all think would be best.

Thanks for any future advice or input. :-)

Nice. :-) Thanks for the quick post.

That looks like quite a good collection of mods there. I will definitely keep them all in mind.

How difficult is it to get them all working together? Do any of those conflict with each other?

Not at all. Compatibility is the main focus of my mod list - any issues will be explained in detail throughout.

Also, as you might have noticed, I'm not horribly keen on adding stuff to the game that doesn't feel like it belongs, so it's got a very strong "Vanilla" feel to it, as well.

I've also recently finished a mod list: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1155980-povuholos-tomorrowind-a-mod-recommendations-list-for-today/. Like with BTB's list all the mods on it are compatible with each other, and it also tries to keep the 'vanilla' feel.
