@ Midget - I think he means mods, not the game itself :P

OK let me be a little more exact. I played Morrowind at day one . got Oblivion and am tired of the way the game works and so am going back to morrowind. I am not big on a lot of MOD's in general and i would like to add the MOD's to the steam version which ended in disaster when i tried MODing Oblivion on Steam. Had a copy so no problem but had a tech reinstall it with the MOD's I had before anyway
before.

Now my 23" LG monitor with my 2 9800GTX+ video cards can run in HDMI 1080 (I think?)This lets the steam version look god and play smooth. HDMI monitors are rare and a bit costly but the games look good. I would like to find the following

A safe fool proof (well ALMOST foolproof) MGE install procedure

A MOD to improve the combat (I can live with the one in the game)but would like something a little better if possible

A mod to improve the body's

I have Morrowind installed on my second system which is an 8AN SLI Premium mobo, AMD XP 4200 duel core CPU, 2 GIG RAM and two 7950 Video cards. Games on this system if run on the LG monitor will also run in HDMI. I will try MODing this one first and still might have my tech friend do the steam version as it is a bit trickier. I will look at some of the sites mentioned in the post about the FAQ's and forget about the Amazon (MOD's on Amazon is that guy living under a rock or just trying to be funny) LOL

If anyone has a particular MOD that fits the above please post a reply
thank you for your time

I have you know I live ON a rock. Thats why I have access to the inernet :D - Amazon FTW!!!!!!!!

but seriously, a great deal can be found on there ;)

Anyway, best bet is to search the forums, theres a few mod lists out there that aim to bring the best of the best for new people who dont know alot about mods to dig their heels into. Defo worth a look.

better bodies for the bodies. there is a combat system. it requires mwse. which does come with mge. dunno what it was called. but remember it allow dismemberment, and decapitation an all sorts of other options. as far as sites to browse for mods. try planet elder scrolls, tesnexus, and elric melnibornes modsite. mythic mods and telephoros mod list are list sites with links. there are several modlists on this forum. but basically you are going to have to decide for yourself what you want. there are so many mods out there. that everybody that mods has a different morrowind. and each will be to their taste. so find what you like. and use it.
