Annoying issue

Hello,

I've recently ran intro troubles with my Morrowind install - sometimes when I'm in interiors, at some spots game starts to lag as hell, this happends often when in Merchant screen or when picking something up from containers - but sometimes also when looking at certain spots. It looks like the issue is getting more pronounced, becouse after finishing MQ and Tribunal, when moved on to Bloodmoon, this lags are getting more often and the game can't be played with lags like these, kicking in. I've tried disabling distant land, disabled the shaders, non of this have worked.

Also, I have an issue with Vurt's Solstheim Trees and Bushes - after generating distant land, I don't see the grass - trees appeared normally, and I think there's a missing texture for some bush with ingredients (I don't know how it's called in English version of the game, but I can check).

I'm using lastest MGE svn scatter cloud, latest beta MCP and 4 GB patch . Exe optimizer sadly seems to not work with non-english exes of the game.

As for the Vurt's question, sorry for misleading, I just thought that grass comes in this mod, but it needs to be installed separately - from Vurt's Solstheim groundcover :)

I'm still trying to pinpoint what causing this, I really appreciate any help with this, becouse it renders my game unplayable.

Have you disabled Distant Land in Interiors? This was the issue for my huge fps drop in interiors. Dunno why.

This has solved the issues I've been having with interior slowdowns but for some strange reason *all* distant landscapes and MGE's grass rendering gets broken, they all appear solid black.

Just tried that, the slowdowns firstly seemed to dissapear, but as a side effect of enabling this option it that when I enter any interior from exterior, the outlines of last image stays on the screen (propably of a SSAO shader - note I've ticked "disable in exteriors" in this shader). So now I don't know if later slowdowns are the "standard" slowdowns that I'm fighting or effect of this image outlines staying in the screen.

i get the SSAO transposed on my loading screens, too, but i dont have any mysterious slowdowns.

you've got a few more things installed than i do though.the fact that you get it even in merchant screens has me thinking it's someone's unoptimized scripts.

you're using morrowind advanced? isnt that buggy and unstable, or am i thinking of something else?

Yes, I'm using Morrowind Advanced - it adds needed content to higher level characters, and sticks to the lore (I'm a lore freak ;P ) . I'm using it in all my MW installations and it never caused any troubles for me.

As for the problem, apparently, I've got it fixed - 2 hours of unticking every plugin and checking the behavior of the game - it's seems that plugin "Vurt's Solstheim Trees and Bushes" caused this lockups for me - I totally don't know why, becouse it does nothing to interiors. The game runs perfectly fine without this plugin. But the trees adds much more atmosphere to the Solstheim, so I must rename the files from this plugin as the readme says - it would be nice that Vurt could add a plugin less replacer with this ;)

Hope this thread would be helpfull for people that run into the same troubles. Thanks for help!
