The Enclave pays better. I can't belive my brother acctually joned the Brotherhood Of Steel. I had to lead a bunch of soldiers into D.C.
we ran into the brotherhood 3 times. Finally, we got to GNR. We got into there and then right after three minutes we fell back. I'm the only person that survived, soldiers are too week. We have long since left. We had been doing research when a few wastelanders were spotted. Later we found it was Talon company and raiders. they went quick, they killed two but they 18 people were no match for our cover established and our superior weaponry.
Private Jones was found dead at our "base" later... he was a family friend. He had gone so far and struggled for so long. The poor kid didn't deserve it. But, we can't show emotion, we are The Enclave, not a bunch of sorry looking- thumb svcking babies. We had to continue on. Probably the worst part is that nobody gets a decent burial in D.C. we just threw a tarp over him and stripped his armor. Another thing I hated to do with the dead. We needed to salvage gear,ammo,weapons, everything but thier holotag was taken off and used for another trooper. I hate this hell hole. I can't wait to be out of D.C.
