How do you decided where to host your mods?

Well, what I'd really like is if instead of taking me to a page that says I've filled out the form wrong when I hit submit, it kept me on the same page and marked the fields that I've done something wrong in, the way a lot of other sites do it (deviantArt for example). That way I wouldn't have to hit the Back button and lose the whole form.

Nexus does have the nice users-can-upload-screenshots feature

I forgot all about that. Yes, I have to agree: that's one of the really nice features there. Because I refuse to vote for mods I often add my own screenshots to a mod's page. I tend to see a screenshot as my own form of endorsemant and a way of saying Thank You.

Have you tried uploading recently? They've changed/improved the forms quite a bit over the summer/during last fall. Now there aren't so many dead-end pages anymore, though I still open up the different things (like images and tags) in a new window. Check the screenshots http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1157792-how-do-you-decided-where-to-host-your-mods/page__view__findpost__p__16970722 of the main attributes section (four screenshots long). It's a lot to fill out, but for new modders unfamiliar with old etiquette, I can see how useful it'd be for downloaders to have this kind of info to look at. Still, the interface could use some improvements to make it easier to edit things.
