Best character in a fan fic - No doubt about it. Teresa by Sub Rosa.
She created a character that started out as a blank plate and it developed wonderfully. Still no job description for Teresa but here is hoping for 2010.
As a writer SubRosa proved that character development and personality was more important than anything else. Well done.

Due to a lack of time - and a really, really crap last few months jobwise - I've not been reading as many fanfics here as I'd have liked. I guess I've stuck to the ones I knew :unsure:

There have been several mentioned - by people who's judgements I trust quite implicitly - that I haven't read. So, "Teresa, Not a Hero" and "Teresa, Moving Through Darkness" by SubRosa, "Buffy the Bowgirl" by Acadian and "A New Sun Rises" by malX1 have just gone straight into my "Get your lazy backside in gear and start reading them pile". I'm interested to see if there are any other recommendations still to come

Most Improved Writer: Some expect me to say myself, but in my opinion, mALX. Her words are like a painting. I say writing is weaving a basket of mystery or painting a masterpiece. I have to say, when I look at mALX's "paintings" I stare in awe, aspiring to one day be as good as the great mALX. I can't think of anyone other than mALX to win, except Wooly as a runner-up.

I can't really say that I have the best knowledge of this corner of the forum as I joined in May, and got manned (or 'womaned') up to sneak over and post here in September, but I'll just fill in the ones I can

Best RP of 2009 (RP's created before 2009 excluded): I will not vote for any of this years RP's because all of the ones I have read died at one moment or another. For a RP to be good, it has to finish. At least that's what I think.

Best Ongoing RP (RP's created before 2009 allowed): I will not vote on this category.

Most innovative RP 2009 (RP's created before 2009 excluded): Atomic's The Mad University. You never knew what you would find around the next corner (or in the broom closet)

Most Improved RPer of 2009: From what I have seen, Woolymammoth45 has improved quite a bit

Best Character in a Roleplay 2009: FC4's Jassan Zartuk gets my vote here. FC4 give life to him in his descriptions of movements, emotions and feelings.

Good to see you again Ayumi. I recall when you first joined you did not have the best time, but I'm glad you returned.

If you need an RP to finish to be good you'll probably be waiting awhile. I have never been an RP that's finished, and the only one I've seen so far is Immortal Blood's most recent one, if that even counts. I think it's more about the creativity, the hosting, and most importantly how much fun people had in it

Thanks for the vote, I'm overjoyed to see my name on that list (though I doubt I deserve it. Maybe next year ) I wrote over a thousand words of the next chapter tonight, but it's going to end up at least three times that. Hopefully I'll finish tomorrow after all the festivities are over. Nice description Solidor, though the hammer bit seems a bit much. All my votes are in, and I intend to keep them as they are No offense to anyone whom I did not vote for, I know most of you have done some really great stuff this past year.

Though the text in bold would suggest a singularity, just one fanfiction though multiple characters from it perhaps? Characters is a typo.
