Ingredient Hunting

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 5:50 pm

Caesar is an apprentice in the Arcane University, majoring in Alchemy in his first year. I love it when I decide to just go ingredient hunting searching the vast world of oblivion for all types of ingredient. Is this just me?

While studying Alchemy and brewing potions and poisons I find it difficult to get poisons....anyone?

I find it is also a great way for me to capture the designing brilliance of the TES team. It allows the opportunity to see the game as the creators saw it !

No it's not just you. I think it can be a zen like experience just wondering around picking ingredients. I find that for poisons nightshade found around the Priory of the Nine area is quite plentiful. :ninja:

The nice thing is that if you spend at least three days on the road picking flowers and mushrooms and gathering seeds and nectar, then when you get back to the University, the wonderful garden there will be in full bloom again!

Seeing the setting sun as I'm traveling back to the Wawnet Inn after gathering Alchemy ingredients is one of the reasons I don't use magick.
My characters allways smile knowing they have a long night of making potions and piosons ahead of them.
Sure it takes work, but that work is well worth it.Besides knowing you have the next day off to go swimming and just hang out is great.
