Pelinal Whitestrake WAS a vision.

THANK you for correcting my mistake!

No, I was making a joke. But since you mentioned your mistakes, could you elaborate on what the heck you are talking about? Talos' visions of gods? He knew one firsthand. Martin just switched religions. Grey Fox what?

well, if you have red the Black horse Curier and it says they have caught the gray fox, in it, it says that the Gray Fox was the Reincarnation of Talos and the father of Hyronemious Lex

My friend, that is completely false. Not one piece of that statement is even close to being true.

you have a good point, and Martin was a saint, he had the dragon blood in his veins and he had transformed into Akatosh,
if you say Gray Fox isn't a saint, maybe he is, maybe he's not, but thats what i believe in, you can't change what i believe in.

No but it can still be very wrong and therefore not used in a discussion.

You can still tell your opinion but you should not try and persuade others to believe so... just my side of the coin.

You are right. Nobody can form an opinion for you or change your mind on a subject or make you believe anything. The purpose of people responding to your posts is so you can get another point of view on the matter and maybe it will help with your own understanding. But all that matters is how you perceive it.

very wise, well i have taken another point and checked it out, but i still stick to my point, maybe the Blades were saints as well, thats just a thought, they all worship Talos and maybe they even had visions of the mighty one himself.

I"m well aware of the difference. But can demigods even be saints?

I guess. People call him "Saint pelinal," and either way demigod or not he killed those Ayleid bastards! That's good enough for me.

Or unholy. Martyrs, and those within the cult who keep the commands are likely candidates for sainthood.

As far as Pelinal goes, he was Shor incarnate, so he was loftier than a champion. The most recent Champion of Cyrodiil (assuming he was made the Paladin of the 9 divines) would be the incarnate(?) of Pelinal, so he would be more on the level of immortal hero or at least a saint.

I could see the CoC being sainted, especially after ressurecting the knights of the Nine and being ressurected himself. Even if he was a "nameless" saint or simply Shezzarine, he's got the qualigfications as far as heroism and devotion go.

(LN is suddenly smothered by moths for calling him the shezzarine)

Seriously, the entire lore community misspells their favorite deity. It's Shezarr. Whose fault is this? :P

Whoever came up with that goofy name.

Every time I see it I think of that Shaq movie from the mid 90's, but I can't remember the title of it.

Kazaam. It was awful enough to make the IMDb Bottom 100, just ahead of Witless Protection, and a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Better real-world referents for Shezarr might be Belshazzar (the last king of Babylon before the Persian victory) or Belteshazzar (the Babylonian name given to the courtier Daniel). The particle "shazzar" is thought to mean "prince" or "protect the king".
