Name: Tamrielic Lore Items Mod
Version: 1.1
Date: 10/04/2010 15:35:39
Author(s): SmartKid

Description
========
This mod adds a unique set of items to Oblivion, all of which are from the book, Tamrielic Lore (www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tamrielic_Lore) There are 7 items to be found in Tamriel:

1. Bow of Shadows
2. Ice Blade of the Monarch
3. Lord's Mail
4. Staff of Magnus
5. Staff of Hasedoki
6. Ring of Surroundings
7. Daedric Scourge (Scourge)

Also added is a woman outside the Faregyl Inn, who will give you the famous sword from Morrowind, Eltonbrand, if you meet the following conditions:

1. You have the sword, Goldbrand, from Boethiah's Daedric Quest.
2. You have 11171 gold in your inventory (because you cannot drop gold in Oblivion, I recommend using console commands to get exactly the right amount).

You will get a dialogue option: 'Go to hell, Carolina!'. Select it, and she will remove Goldbrand, and give you Eltonbrand.

Immediately added when you start the game is a topic called 'Things To Do'. Use this on any Imperial person, and they will give you hints about where these artifacts can be found.

As soon as you get all 7 artefacts (not including Eltonbrand) a mysterious door will open SE of the Imperial City. 'To where?' you ask. That is something you'll have to find out for yourself.

Requirements
==========
Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.214 (Official 1.2 Patch)

Installation Instructions
=================
Unzip all of the files into your 'Oblivion\Data' folder.

Uninstallation Instructions
===================
Deactivate the mod in the Data Files section of the launcher, then delete:

1. The ESP
2. The folder 'Oblivion\ Data\ Sound\ Voice\ smkTamrielicLoreItems01'

Incompatability
===========
I have added a few things to the Cyrodiilic wilderness (cave entrances, etc.) but the only possible issues will be if another mod places things in *exactly* the same location, which is very unlikely.

Known Issues
===========
*SPOILER*

In the main library of Apocrypha, the framerate drops dramatically, as there are a lot of Havok objects there. The best way to avoid this is to avoid walking in the dead centre of the library: try to stick to the sides.

If there are any other issues, please leave a comment or PM me.

Change Log
=========

Version 1.1:
- Fixes a bug that stops the 'Things To Do' topic from being added.

SmartKid (me): I designed the entire mod, and voiced about half of the dialogue.

My friend (who isn't on these forums) voiced the other half of the in-game dialogue. Thanks for your help!

Are these items retextured, or whole new meshes and textures?

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't look at the pictures. It uses the base models.

They're just copied from existing meshes and textures.
