Daggerfall Mods

Are there any good sites that provide Daggerfall mods? I'm particularly looking for more male Nord faces.

No mods, or rather there are just a select few but it's not what you're looking for.

When someday http://daggerxl.wordpress.com/ is finished, the game will have modding capabilities :)

Sweet. Any word on when that may be finished?

A while, it just came out with its first demo a couple days ago.

The only mods for Daggerfall are various questpacks and Andyfall. Andyfall adds some clothing and armor bits, adds horseback guards, changes battlemages to more powerful 'overlords', and changes some dark elf nobles to their more appropriate skin tone.

It depends... How's your Necromancy skill?

Eh... no.

He actually can, with the appropriate program and skills. It's probably more effort than it's worth, though. Are you saying "no" because you genuinely thought it was true (in which case, you shouldn't have without more evidence), or because you didn't want to fully answer his post (which would be lazy)?

If the texture coordinates match up, though (and it's very possible they do), he could just rename the appropriate file(s) and copy all of the Nord faces to the Breton body.

@SirDavid: find and download AndyPic, find out which faces you want copied, and backup/rename the appropriate files. If I didn't feel like such crap (surgery yesterday) I'd probably go through this with you, but I'm not going to do it right now.

One more thing; you can download the Daggerfall Interactive Preview and copy the "FACE****.CIF" files over from that /arena2 folder to the /arena2 folder the full version uses. Obviously, make backups should you not like the older faces that the Interactive Preview used. These are different though, and I think they look a bit closer to Arena's style.

There are a few Daggerfall mods, you can find them http://www.svatopluk.com/daggerfall/mods/.

I also keep a bunch of zipfiles from the (long dead) Essential Site (formerly known as Andel Crodo's Fashion Gallery) that are not available anywhere today, like a Dragon Quest type helm or some Warhammer like classes. I should put them somewhere on the UESP in the future as Daggerfall now gets some kind of revival.

I would install the werewolf mod but I'm not sure how stable it is.

There's some good stuff http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Files#Unofficial_Add-Ons. I highly recommend installing, in this order, QUESTPAK.ZIP, FACTFIX.ZIP, and DFQFIX.
