I thought you were saying that Todd Howard popped a blood vessel and proceeded to release all the games for free. :shakehead:

That, my friend would be glorious. Though I could forsee Bethesda making a good bit of cash if they released Redguard and Battlespire in the form of a "Bethesda Classics" Box.

Why not just play epic music in the backround instead of the less than stellar music of Redguard.

I'd totally buy that, as long as they worked on modern systems without me getting a headache trying to make them work. If they aren't go to go through that trouble, then they should release 'em for free like they did with Daggerfall and Arena.

I don't have all the games. I had considered purchasing BS and RG, but then realized that I'd be tempted to throw my computer out the window because of the hassle it'd be to get them running in XP 64-bit (particularly Redguard).

How did you get Shadowkey on the pc, and how good is Shadowkey, is it a dungeon crawler or what?

I have all of the orginal series and also the two spin offs BS and RG all running on my computer. now the problem is beating them all. I have beat MW, OB, and RG half way through BS and Arena and just started daggerfall but I'm goin to stay on daggerfall for a while so no chase of me beating the others any time soon........is there a way to get shadowkey on PC? what about the others?

Oh, and about the music, I have the same problem as well. I assume your using Glidos? I sure hope they fix it soon, I haven't seen anything about them trying to fix it, but I haven't been looking that frequently either. Listening at the music from the disc I say it's pretty good, and would definitely like to have it in-game.

Regarding Redguard. I am playing it with no problem using DGVoodoo. So give that wrapper a try: http://dege.freeweb.hu/

I also have Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard, Morrowind and Oblivion, all with all their expansions. All original boxes and manuals and maps, etc, all sitting proudly onmy shelf and all on my PC on various drives! A little know reason to get Redguard if you haven't got it, is the 'Pocket Guide to the Empire' that's included. It's the definitive guide to Tamriel and it's people's and there has been nothing like it before or since! :)

VDMS sound + dgvoodoo will get you sound in Redguard. As for Battlespire, yes it has Redbook audio, though I really don't like it - its all just atmospheric 'creepy' music. If you mount your cdrom drive into dosbox and have it installed and that yu can listen to your own music ingame. :)

To play with 3DFX hardware supported graphics (that are much better) - yes.
