Dwarven Shield Level 1- Redguard

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 6:49 am

So i begin my new RP character named Turlok a Redguard first thing i did was go and save the people of battlethorn castle. second i went into the grotto and killed the lich and the skelton guy in the grotto. Third i went south east of the Imperial City to head for Cropsford. went past Cropsford to where you start the Goblin War Quest went straight intoTimberscar Hollow and first goblin i find i s a Skirmisher, AT LEVEL 1 i was nervous as i play on 70% difficulty so it took some tactical work to finish him and on his corpse was a Dwarven shield. I was very happy because now i have full steel Armor and a Dwarven shield all at LEVEL 1.

Do the Goblin tribes always have great drops?? My Redguard, Turlok is now a Great Goblin Hunter!

The past several characters have mainly been archers, and have not really looked at the drops in terms of weapons and armor, but the arrow drops have been amazing. I walked out of Timberscar Hollow at level 18 last night with 400 Elven arrows.

That's cool that you got outfitted. My current character had an amazing stroke of luck when at level 8, she found the Boots of the Olympian in loot. I sold them though, as I am now armor-free. :)

Yeah my Stealth Archer, Kiedi (Forum Username Based on Character) never wears any armor. He tends to wear brown tunic with brown trousers and brown loafers from the SI or Green shirt, Huntsman Trousers with Huntsman Moccasins. Thats amazing that you got 400 Elven arrows from them. What type of Bow do you use and which is your favorite bow?

I always seem to receive 2-3+ mundane rings by the time I hit lv20-ish.
They're kind of game breaking IMO, so I just throw them away. :violin:

The character I play starts out with whatever he finds in the Imperial escape route from his cell. Later in the game (Level 3), he find's his father's house. The house (a mod I built) comes with a full set of Elvish weapons (longsword, dagger, and bow with 50 arrows), a full set of Elvish armor, and expert alchemy tools. I was amazed at how much difference those items make in early levels. Now that he has reached Level 8, the kills are getting a little tougher. But at Level 3, he was almost God-like. (Difficulty at 50)

Currently wearing:

Mana Manacles: Spell Absorption 20
Green Robe Hood (currently unenchanted)
Hot Pants, Heinrich's Pants: Fire Shield 18
Heinrich's Shirt: Shock Shield 25
Spelldrinker's Amulet at 12 points
Stitched Leather Shoes: currently unenchanted

Currently I'm using an Ebony Bow, that I enchanted with
Soul Trap 3 seconds
Fire Damage 17 points for 2 seconds
Shock Damage 10 points for 1 second
Light 15 feet for 3 seconds
25 charges with a Grand Soul Gem
But I'm waiting for my prize, which will be a Perfect Madness Bow, which I will self-enchant similarly, but probably with more powerful elemental damage and/or silence, with fewer charges.

A good place to get enchanted light armor (past lvl 3) is Sercen, just north of IC. For the best shield (I know about) that you can get on lvl 1 is the blackwood shield in the Blackwood Company hall i Leyawin, but it is locked in a showcase with hard lock. For silver short/longsword on lvl 1 you can visit the Leyawin FG. They are on the third floor.
