Really awesome stuff thats happened to you?

This month has been made of svck. But. this too shall pass.

As for finding money, found wallets twice, both with large sums of money. Turned them in, got a reward both times.
My conscience would bother me immensely if I had not of. It was the correct thing to do. I put myself in their place. One of the wallets that I found: the owner was on vacation, and had saved for years to come to Florida. There was several thousand dollars in that wallet. I knew this, it wasn't mine, and it's owner was going to miss it.
The same would hold true if it were full only of credit cards. It doesnt belong to me.

During the month of January? That's amazing!

PS did you find them in someone else's pocket?

I'm a Spurs fan, so seeing them win 3-4 times a week is pretty awesome. Great change of pace from every other sport I like, considering I'm a Cowboys () and Astros (:() fan.

On my 14th birthday, I received a surprise present. My mom got me a PS3, which I had been wanting for quite a while before my 14th birthday. Afterwards, I went to Gamestop and picked out my first seventh-generation video game. That game was Oblivion.

BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit:

Oh, this month...

Well, I recalled that birthday.

I also had a snow day and, after yesterday's regents exam and ACE biology final, I got 6 six days off school. I'm starting the second of those days, right now. Can I relive the first event I mentioned?

Just yesterday my teacher made a really dirty joke without even realising it. I dare not speak it here, but it was awesome.

 Now that's what I call a good life choice.

I've had three job interviews this month (vs. zero in the past year and a half--a nice change!), and at least one would like me back for a second interview. :) I'd say more but I'm trying not to invoke Murphy's Law.

Also...first, the bad: I screwed up my first attempt at replacing my burnt out LED case lights on my rig and nearly fried the resistor, and made it so that none of the LEDs worked, including the new replacements. I couldn't figure out what I did wrong, so I brought it into a local repair shop for assistance. I explained what I'd done, and showed him my soldering work...and he started laughing. Said it was some of the better soldering work he'd seen, and he was impressed I'd had the guts to take on the project myself. (Did I mention this was my first attempt at soldering?)

So: learned how to solder, got the LEDs sorted, earned the new nickname "soldering goddess," and the shop kindly straightened out some other wiring issues while they were at it. That was pretty awesome.

Nothing interesting this month, but the top moment last month was taking part in a military parade held in Finland's independence day. I was in the first of the four tanks my unit had sent to the parade.. It was epic to see all those young boys be awed by the raw power of tanks. I even got to the Defence Forces' official independence parade gallery in their website.

I once called a prolific children's TV presenter "wanker" by mistake on camera.

I yearn to return to those glory days.

I passed my math exam retake with a grade of 9 (out of 10). I'm amazed at how awesome I am. :celebration:

Doesn't sound like much, but that [censored] is hard as hell and I'm not a very mathematical person.

Thought I was gonna have to live in the jungle with a bunch of Filipinos for a week.

They didn't wanna go...wanted to drink instead.

We got extremely hammered on the beach every single day that week instead.
