Brink And Hunted Two Weeks Apart?

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 2:06 pm

Bethesda is publishing four games this year and brink and hunted are two weeks apart right in the middle of the year? Then rage and skyrim are two months apart at the end of the year? Weird way of not spreading them out?

Maybe the audiences are different enough that they don't compete much sales wise?

But still...two weeks? Its not like they are publishing a massive amount of games.

Its not like you have to buy them both on release day.

Those really don't have the same target audience. And development is done when it's done.

Development is never done haha. They could always tweak something or be doing more bug testing or adding/deleting stuff. Tis is the world of video game development.

Well, then let me rephrase it as "affordable development is done when it's done". ^_^

Yeah, I'm kinda wondering how this is going to affect the OP really. They didn't develop either game, so I'm trying to find fault with them publishing two titles at once. Just look at EA and Activision around the holidays... Doesn't seem to bother them any :hehe:

The absolute prime release time is around November hence why bi game like Black Ops, MW2, Skyrim etc... are all being released around that time. However it is much harder for smaller games to compete so that might be why they're going mid year.
