My New Champion

A NEW CHAMPION ARISES:

I have marked the end of Zakarius Svedlin. I will not be continuing that character anymore. It is time for a new epic hero. I will create him sometime tomorrow but I was too excited to wait, so this is what he will be. I do have a history of restartitis but I feel really good about this character, and I spent more time thinking him out than any other character I have ever done.

Name:Zorak gro-Syklon (may have to shorten to just Zak gro-Straklon if the name is too long.)

Race: Orc
Birthsign: Warrior
Class Name: Orsimer
Specialization: Magic
Attributes:
Endurance
Strength
Skills:

Looks like it can be quite powerful. However I think that the Mage birhtsign would serve him better due to his maturally low magica :violin: . Other than that it seems like a good setup in my book :)

Looking good. I recently started a new character myself: An Altmer mage wielding heavy armor (i.e. a Heavy Mage). I'm having a lot of fun with him; 19 hours of playtime, and not a single MQ completed. I'm holding on to that Amulet!

I'd have to agree with Tdroid. Seeing as Orcs have -10 Intelligence, Magicka will be scarce, so I'd suggest that you pick The Mage.

Oh Zak, you and restartitis! I hope this guy speaks to your heart. He looks good. Orsimage is a wonderful idea!

I wouldn't worrry about his magicka too much. When his intel gets built up and with a couple items, he'll have plenty of magicka. I find it's only the destruction spammers that need loads of blue. Those who use conjuration and illusion tend to cast spells at a slower rate allowing plenty of time for regeneration. And he'll regenerate it quickly even without using awesomesauce homemade restore blue potions! Not to mention it looks like he'll carry a big blunt thing to hit with too. Buffy backs up her bow with mostly illusion and due to its nature of not having to spam it, she never runs out of blue.

Oh, and he has that wonderful 25% resistance to magic. And is born with 'drain attribute' already in his repertoire for enchanting/spellcrafting. And he'll have tusks! WooHoo! :goodjob:

I thought about the Mage and even the Apprentice. I ended up with the lady because the idea is that the Axe is the cake and magic is sprinkles on top.

However what do you guys think of doing the Apprentice or Steed. Im still up for opinions on those.

The Steed will give you a good boost in speed, which is something the orsimer needs. The Apprentice is very risky when it comes to other spellcasters or enchanted weaponry, but gives a big advantage against most other things: not a sign I personally would do, but it is up to you.

I believe the apprentice well suits a glass cannon. A character who is skittish and cautious. A character who tries very hard to avoid getting hit by spells and enchanted weapons. Does this describe your orc?

No my orc is not skiddish... HES AN ORC lol. I was thinking that hes only have 75% weakness to magic, but that is still a chunk. Id rather be using that.

So Ill hear arguments for Steed, Mage, and Lady.

and for attributes.

Endurance for sure but then WIllpower, Strength, or Speed?

Well when the time came to pick Birth and Attributes I took the Warrior Path, Strength and Endurance. It just felt like the right thing to do.

He is finished and exited the sewer, point of no return.

Now Im just playing and exploring and trying to create a very good backstory. Something deep and worthy of a song.

I made an orcish mage once, its fun. I relied on illusion magic and alchemy, nothing cooler than making your enemies rip their friends to pieces for you. orcs don't have near teh magicka to rain down crazy destruction like an altmer. Besides a poisened mace to the face is way more orcish than a puny fireball :mohawk:
