Doesn't it drive you nuts though that there are so few decent fantasy films. I mean actual fantasy. Like LOTR films are good. Dragon Slayer, Conan, Ladyhawk and Beastmaster are okay. Maybe Willow though starting to get super cheezy. There aren't many out there and among the ones that are, most aren't good. So many people don't take the genre seriously. I can't wait for the Hobbit, and it's follow-up film, but that will be a long wait yet. I've seen LOTR fan films that are better than many full production hollywood fantasy films. Dammit I want to see a new good high fantasy/sword and sorcery flick that isn't a joke. The new Conan is not shaping up to be very interesting. They should scrap the name and call it something else to retain any dignity.

Sorry for the rant. I live for fantasy, but there isn't much in the way of good films out there in the genre.
