Answer this question for yourself people. Would you rather buy The Elder Scrolls V on the last few months of a worn console, or buy Elder Scrolls V on a new console with better everything that will last years to come.
edit: This only implies that 2013 is the release of the next generation consoles.
Carefully re-read my last post. It's really not as simple as you're making out. A '
better everything that will last years to come' requires that Bethesda waits until the next-gen is announced and its hardware limits revealed before creating a new engine for it. Otherwise we get a similar sub-par engine that Oblivion and the Fallout games ran on for the next-gen as well. No thanks, I'd rather be patient and reap the greater rewards for the next-gen.
