FCOM issues :/

So yea i recently installed oblivion when i saw the mod FCOM allowed combining several of my fav mods.
Now I followed the instructions, installed the patches(unoffical and official), Wrye Bash and BOSS... then i got the different mods needed... I then checked them in Wrye Bash, and launched BOSS to re-list them or whatever it's called... and it does it's done that. However when i run the game it says it can't find the oblivion.esm master file, so i think my load order is really screwed up.. any input would be really nice... :)

ummm...would help to SEE your Load order. These Guys/gals are good BUT not that good...lol

Use BASH...Right Click Header choice "List Mods" Then Post here using Spoiler Tags. unless its not that long. [spoiler]

Oh, yeah...you do have a mess there. You basically need to reinstall. All of those mods have the wrong configurations installed for FCOM, seriously...

Thats really odd :S... how should I go about installing the mods right then?... I followed the instructions pretty straight forward.

Edit: Any ideas of what I might've done wrong tho?

When you look at the Oblivion line. Top one ...is there a Check in the Box? also Tomlong is gonna give you a link to read about BOSS use it Religously. Cause thats a mess. But BOSS will Straighten you out once you Get things installed correctly.

I was absolutely serious when I said ALL of the FCOM components are installed incorrectly. If you read that guide, you will not miss anything. BOSS is not the problem. The problem is that important plugins are missing, and plugins that should not be installed, are installed. Start over.

I hope you made sure you had successfully patched up to 1.2.0416 before installing any mods.

Unable to find Oblivion.esm sounds like a patching problem.

Ok but your not reading what the log says from BOSS pretty sure it would tell you that this is the German Version and Not to use Both the EV(english) and German version in the Sane Game.

Reading through it at the moment, and honestly... Seems extremely complicated so kinda considering givin up, but hey, that's why the Mod has warnings written all over it I guess

If you want to try something simpler, you could downsize to MMMforOOO. There is a guide for that as well. I really wish I had screen shots to accompany each step, but I will get those up in the future after I get back to my desktop. The task is not too challenging, but you really have to read instructions to correctly setup mods like this.

I've prevoiusly mainly used OOO, but sorta learned everything by heart pretty quickly (it's an awesome mod though). And I might look into this MMMforOOO, what exactly that it do? add MMM to OOO 'm guessing but hehe

Read MMM's (new) ReadMe linked under Lists>Online ReadMes! It is an awesome, modular mod that adds tremendous creature diversity. Actually, unless you use SI, the main contribution Fran's mod makes is new items. MMM contains most of its creatures and more. It also modifies the behaviors of animals to be more realistic. It is not a true overhaul, but at this point if you use enough of the options it comes fairly close. Use the guide to help you install it because there are always particulars when it comes to installing multiple overhauls together. The configuration piece is much shorter, however. The OBMM scripts have already been created for you for both mods.
